More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics

A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has gone beyond over one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.

Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.

The campaign is connected to broader Drug prevention humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
